See what our students say about training at House of the Samurai!
The Knee-High Samurai program is designed to enhance the emotional and physical development of young children between the ages of three and six.
The children in this program are introduced to the guiding principles of the martial arts. Our goal is to help them develop a positive self-image, confidence, responsibility, and encourage cooperation at home and with others.
Each class includes warm-up activities, karate basics, positive reinforcement of expected behavior, questions and answers, and game time. Children in this program are challenged to work hard and have fun.
After a relatively short period of time, you will see an amazing increase in your child’s balance, coordination, communication skills, and their ability to follow instructions. At approximately the age of seven, knee-high students transition smoothly into the next age group for classes which are forty-five minutes in length and build upon the strong skills developed in the Knee-High Program.
